Senior Mechanical Engineer

Charterhouse are partnered with a Dubai-based electromechanical contracting company who have been a leading business in the region for over 20 years. Our client is an ISO certified company and specialises in MEP contracting. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer would be supporting the business across a wide portfolio of projects, all of which are high rise buildings (30+ floors). The role would be responsible for reviewing mechanical drawings and monitoring the engineering projects, and ensuring the project's compliance with codes and standards. Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the efficient and cost-effective completion of plans, providing support by preparing drawings and performing engineering calculations to assist the design work.

The successful candidate should have at least 8 years of experience working on high-rise MEP projects, and should be capable of working on all aspects of MEP projects, including HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems.

The ideal candidate should have a previous experience with high-end projects across the UAE and should have the ability to provide expert input to Mechanical Engineering design and analysis. Experience in Electromechanical companies is also desirable.
