About the Company:

Qontrac is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is perfect for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing on-site execution with office-based tender preparation and technical review.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management: Supervise daily mechanical site operations (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting systems), ensuring execution aligns with approved shop drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Tendering & Estimation: Prepare, review, and analyze tender documents, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for mechanical packages.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery and system integration.
• Quality & Safety Control: Conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety regulations, and proactively resolve any technical mechanical issues that arise during installation and testing.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 6+ years of proven experience, with a mandatory background in both site engineering and tendering/technical office work.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical construction methods, MEP systems, materials, and local/international industry codes.

Required & Preferred Skills:

• Required: Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and engineering calculation tools.
• Required: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with testing & commissioning processes for mechanical systems.
