Lead Concept, FEED, and Detailed Engineering activities for process and utility piping systems across both offshore and onshore facilities.
Perform detailed design, modelling, and development of piping systems using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal disciplines (civil, mechanical, stress, instrumentation) during design reviews, 3D model reviews (3060%), hold log closure, and final deliverable submissions.
Prepare and review piping deliverables, including isometrics, general arrangement drawings, MTOs, line lists, tie-in schedules, status reports, and model close-out documentation.
Review and validate Smart 3D (S3D) models for piping design, including support modelling, equipment modelling, and report generation.
Conduct 3D model reviews and manage clash detection and resolution activities.
Design and review systems such as offshore flare networks, closed drain systems, cryogenic services (Air Separation Units), PIG launchers/receivers, stabilizers, acid gas recovery units, mercury removal units, and oil & gas process modules.
Identify and resolve clashes, design errors, and hold items; evaluate civil and mechanical drawings; and propose design solutions for mechanical handling and piping routing challenges.
Ensure all designs comply with international codes, company standards, and project specifications.
Perform quality checks, technical audits, and Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC) of drawings, P&IDs, vendor documents, and material specifications.
Support the preparation and delivery of high-quality final documentation and comprehensive engineering packages.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 08-10 years of experience in piping design, layout in industrial sectors.
