Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and verify design drawings and shop drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Plan, organize, and manage daily site activities to ensure smooth progress and timely completion of mechanical works.
- Supervise and monitor the execution of on-site mechanical installations, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure efficient performance, quality workmanship, and adherence to project schedules.
- Oversee and deliver completed works to consultants and end users for inspection, testing, and approval.
- Review and confirm subcontractor progress releases and payment requests in line with actual site accomplishments.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting key progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Collaborate and coordinate closely with Electrical and Civil Site Engineers to ensure proper integration and alignment of all project disciplines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 10 years of professional experience in mechanical project execution and site management
- Strong communication and leadership skills, effectively managing teams and coordinating with project stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in mechanical project activities, including installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Skilled in planning, supervising, and delivering projects while ensuring compliance with time, cost, and quality requirements
