MHCEG, part of Mosaic Holding Corporation headquartered in Calgary, Canada, is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our MEP Engineering team in Cairo.
The Senior MEP Engineer will report to the MEP Engineering Manager and will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality MEP engineering designs across projects in the Middle East, North America, and other international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate MEP engineering designs and technical documentation.
- Support mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building-services engineering activities.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate MEP designs with Architecture, Structural, and other disciplines.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Support project teams in resolving technical and coordination issues.
- Participate in BIM/Revit coordination and multidisciplinary design reviews.
- Assist the MEP Engineering Manager with technical reviews, QA/QC, and project delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and support the development of the MEP team.
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and international project delivery as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant MEP engineering experience.
- Strong experience in building-services engineering and multidisciplinary projects.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
- Experience with international projects and codes is preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Professional engineering registration is an advantage.
