Role Description
The Senior MEP Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating Mechanical and Electrical systems across the company's real estate projects. The role includes reviewing and developing MEP designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards, and providing technical support throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and coordinate Mechanical and Electrical designs for real estate projects.
* Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural designs.
* Review shop drawings, technical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
* Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
* Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
* Identify and resolve technical issues and design conflicts.
* Review technical submittals, materials, and equipment when required.
* Provide technical support during project execution.
* Monitor MEP works to ensure compliance with approved designs and quality standards.
* Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering recommendations.
* Ensure proper integration and timely delivery of MEP systems.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably with at least 5 years in real estate development, construction, or large-scale projects.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Strong experience in MEP Design and Engineering.
* Solid knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical building systems.
* Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and engineering practices.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering/design software.
* Strong experience in design coordination and technical documentation.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Fluency in English.
* Relevant experience in the real estate or construction industry is highly preferred.
