Role Summary:
Lead the design, coordination, installation, testing and commissioning of MEP systems with a focus on swimming pools, spas and decorative water features, ensuring compliance, quality, sustainability and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of MEP systems for buildings, swimming pools, spas and water features.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, landscape architects, contractors and clients.
- Design filtration, circulation, water treatment, HVAC, heating, cooling, chemical dosing and pumping systems.
- Develop energy-efficient solutions including VFDs, heat pumps, solar heating and water recycling.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, FINA/ISPSC, ASHRAE and local regulations.
- Oversee installation, inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Review contractor submittals, materials and shop drawings.
- Troubleshoot operational and water quality issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer certification is preferred.
- CPO or equivalent pool certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of LEED/BREEAM principles is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years MEP experience including at least 3–5 years on swimming pools, spas and water features.
- Experience delivering hospitality, residential, commercial or public aquatic projects.
Skills:
- AutoCAD, Revit and MEP design software.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, filtration, water treatment and HVAC.
- Project management, stakeholder management and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
