Role Description
- Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, Egyptian Codes).
- Develop and validate technical submittals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project timelines.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to resolve technical issues and optimize project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data for schematic design and design development phases.
- Review and interpret contract documents, specifications, and client requirements to ensure accurate implementation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for the selection and approval of mechanical materials and equipment.
- Support the testing and commissioning process by preparing documentation and providing technical guidance.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all technical office activities, drawings, and correspondence.
- Ensure all mechanical engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree inmechanical engineeringis amust
- 3 to 5 yearsof proven experience in a technical office role within theMEPor electromechanical contracting sector isa must
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
- Proficiency inAutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
