Senior Microsoft Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced IT solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and ensure that Microsoft-based solutions align with business objectives while meeting performance, security, and scalability requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture: Architect complex IT solutions based on Microsoft technologies, considering business requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends. Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution roadmaps.
- Microsoft Technology Expertise: Possess deep expertise in Microsoft technologies,including but not limited to Windows Server,Active Directory, SharePoint,and Exchange. Stay current with the latest Microsoft offerings, updates, and trends.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Provide strategic advice and guidance on technology investments and architecture decisions.
- Solution Implementation: Lead or oversee the implementation of Microsoft-based solutions, ensuring they align with architectural design and best practices. Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting as needed.
- Security and Compliance: Design and implement robust security measures for Microsoft solutions to protect against threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Microsoft-based systems through optimization, tuning, and capacity planning. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to maintain optimal operation.
- Cloud Integration: Architect hybrid and cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms, considering scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Automation and DevOps: Implement automation practices and DevOps principles to streamline deployment, management, and monitoring of Microsoft solutions.
- Team Leadership and Mentoring: Provide technical leadership to junior architects and engineers. Mentor team members, share knowledge, and foster professional development.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a Microsoft Solutions Architect, with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex solutions.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Proficiency in architectural design tools and methodologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for interacting with stakeholders and conveying complex technical concepts.
