Job Overview
The Senior Network Administrator provides expert-level technical design, planning, implementation, and high-level fine-tuning and recovery procedures for enterprise network systems. This role serves as a technical expert for complex networks, investigating the feasibility of network requirements and developing hardware specifications. Within the Agility Infrastructure and Dry Port environment, this position is responsible for identifying methods and solutions to ensure seamless connectivity and service delivery for employees, governmental representatives, and investors.
Key Accountabilities and Activities
Network Operations and Infrastructure
- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrading of network devices, including $L2/L3$ switches, routers, wireless devices, and related hardware/software in a LAN/WAN environment.
- Maintain updated knowledge of network infrastructure components across various platforms to support agility operations.
- Manage and troubleshoot routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF, with advanced knowledge of BGP.
- Oversee MPLS cloud and VPN technologies, including specialized exposure to tunnelling protocols.
- Maintain and support Voice over IP (VoIP) systems to ensure clear communication channels across the port.
Maintenance and Security
- Conduct investigation, diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair/resolution of network hardware, software, and infrastructure.
- Adopt and implement IT security standards as a core part of daily work.
- Manage advanced security solutions, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAFS, Antibot, and Application & URL Filtering to protect sensitive governmental and investor data.
- Provide high-level diagnosis and troubleshooting for complex network issues that may impact dry port logistics.

- Prepare detailed technical documentation for network configurations and changes.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is considered a significant advantage.
- Act as a self-starter and motivated team player who can adapt to the fast-paced nature of port infrastructure.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar large-scale or government/private sector environment.
- Education: Must possess at least a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Computer Application.
- Certification: CCNP, CCSP, or CCIE certification is required. Additional certifications in troubleshooting and diagnosis tools are an added advantage.
Technical and Physical Requirements
- Expertise in $L2/L3$ switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless devices.
- Experience with VPN and tunnelling protocols.
- A valid Driving License is required for site mobility.
