We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, high-availability network solutions for complex Air Traffic Management (ATM) and mission-critical systems. The role will lead network engineering activities across project delivery, integration, testing, customer deployments, and technical leadership of small engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement network architectures, infrastructure solutions, and security-compliant network configurations.
- Develop solution designs, network documentation, BOMs, test procedures, and integration artifacts.
- Configure, validate, and deploy networking equipment in factory and customer environments.
- Support system integration, troubleshooting, customer acceptance testing, and training activities.
- Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies and alternative solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, task prioritization, mentoring, and quality oversight for engineering teams.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to engineering standards and processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of network engineering experience in complex, software-centric or mission-critical environments.
- Strong expertise in network architecture, infrastructure design, routing, switching, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and Linux/Unix environments (Red Hat preferred).
- Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl, TCL/TK) is advantageous.
- Proven experience leading small technical teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
