Senior Network Engineer

• Infrastructure & Systems Management: Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO) as well as Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, AlmaLinux) supporting critical infrastructure services.
• Network & Security: Manage and optimise enterprise network devices including Cisco switches, Fortinet & Sophos firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Branch Connectivity: Support and troubleshoot SD-WAN deployments, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), and BGP/OSPF routing protocols across nationwide branches.
• Virtualization & Cloud: Manage and monitor VMware virtualisation environments to ensure resource efficiency and high availability.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Oversee automated backup routines (e.g., Veeam) and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitoring, Automation & Support: Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix) deployed on Linux environments to proactively identify issues. Leverage scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell) for routine task automation. Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex IT support incidents.
• Security Compliance: Implement and maintain network security best practices, including RADIUS authentication, firewall policies, and VLAN segmentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or Network Engineering, with at least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Technical Skills:
• Solid expertise in Microsoft Windows Server technologies and Linux System Administration.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall configuration (Fortinet NSE4 or equivalent knowledge is highly preferred).
• Experience with identity and access management (AD, Azure AD).
• Familiarity with network automation and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Experience with Virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Certifications: Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, RHCSA (Red Hat), or Fortinet NSE4 are strongly preferred.
