As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems, supporting our banking operations. - Design and implement network solutions to meet business requirements.
- Manage and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely support to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other technology systems.
- Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct regular network audits and security assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Minimum of CCNP certification or equivalent, with a strong understanding of core networking concepts.
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a proven track record in designing and managing complex network environments.
- Experience in the banking industry is preferred, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry-specific network challenges.
- Strong proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
