Senior Network Engineer

Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA.

We're looking for a Network Engineerto design and deploy cutting-edge VXLAN EVPN data center networks powering hypercomputing and AI workloads. If you're passionate about building high-performance, low-latency environments for multi-GPU clusters and distributed training pipelines, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Architect scalable spine-leaf fabrics using Cisco Nexus 9000 or Arista
• Optimize for RoCEv2, GPUDirect, and low-latency traffic
• Configure BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and troubleshoot overlay/underlay issues
• Integrate with NSX, KVM, Hyper-V, and Kubernetes-based AI platforms
• Automate deployments with Python, Ansible, and Terraform
• Collaborate across teams to support end-to-end AI performance

What You Bring

• Deep experience with VXLAN EVPN and data center fabrics
• Strong knowledge of Cisco ACI, Arista EOS, and routing protocols
• Expertise in RoCEv2, RDMA, DCB, and GPU-accelerated networking
• Hands-on with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Familiarity with AI/ML and HPC environments

Preferred

• CCNP or CCIE Data Center
• Cisco Specialist or Arista ACE certifications
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud AI networking
