Managed Service Provider (MSP) Oversight:
- Act as ADM's operational interface for global network MSPs, ensuring technical and procedural alignment across incident, change, and service request workflows.
- Manage service reviews, performance metrics, and operational escalations to ensure vendors meet contractual obligations.
- Validate operational readiness for new solutions and ensure seamless handoff from project delivery into steady-state support.
- Maintain governance documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and escalation matrices.
Continuous Improvement & Automation:
- Drive operational automation and analytics initiatives to streamline network monitoring, event correlation, and fault isolation.
- Develop dashboards and key health indicators to proactively identify risks and prevent outages.
- Partner with engineering to integrate monitoring and telemetry into design standards, ensuring new deployments are operationally ready from day one.
- Lead post-incident reviews to ensure lessons learned are embedded into operations and future designs.
Incident Leadership & Major Incident Management:
- Serve as a senior technical resource during high-priority outages impacting global connectivity.
- Lead cross-functional war rooms and coordinate with MSPs and internal teams for rapid resolution.
- Conduct deep-dive problem investigations to identify root causes, corrective actions, and long-term preventive measures.
- Champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through strong post-incident review discipline.
Operational Readiness & Lifecycle Management:
- Ensure ADM's network devices, configurations, and software versions are current, supported, and aligned to lifecycle standards.
- Support vulnerability remediation and security compliance activities in collaboration with the cybersecurity team.
- Maintain configuration and asset data accuracy in ADM's CMDB and related tooling (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, ServiceNow).
- Drive proactive obsolescence management and risk mitigation for network infrastructure.
