Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Network Presales Engineer to support the design, costing, and technical proposal development of complex ICT and networking solutions. The role will work closely with sales, engineering, and regional technical teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and competitive network solutions for large-scale infrastructure, government, and enterprise projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical presales activities for networking and ICT projects, from opportunity assessment to bid submission.
  • Design end-to-end network solutions including LAN, WAN, WLAN, data centers, security, and integration with ELV systems.
  • Prepare technical proposals, compliance matrices, network architectures, BOMs, and cost estimates.
  • Support the sales team during tender clarifications, technical presentations, and client meetings.
  • Evaluate RFQs/RFPs and ensure full compliance with client, regulatory, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and OEMs to select optimal technologies, negotiate technical solutions, and obtain pricing.
  • Align proposed solutions with international standards, best practices, and company design guidelines.
  • Provide technical handover to project delivery teams post-award.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Communications, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in networking / ICT, with strong exposure to presales or solution design.
  • Solid hands-on knowledge of:
  • Enterprise networking (Routing & Switching)
  • Network security (firewalls, NAC, VPNs)
  • Wireless solutions
  • Data center networking
  • Experience working with major vendors such as Cisco, HPE, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba, Huawei, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes, BOQs, costing, and technical compliance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, HCNP, NSE, Aruba, or equivalent.
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure, smart cities, transportation, or government projects.
  • Exposure to ELV / low-current system integration is a plus.
