We are seeking a Senior Engineer Network & Security responsible for design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in both networking and cybersecurity
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day customer service operations, including contact centre performance and complaint handling, aligned with Insurance Authority regulations.
- Configure and maintain existing and new Network infrastructure platforms.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless solutions.
- Architect network segmentation, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies to align with business needs.
- Develop and maintain standards, policies, and documentation for network architecture.
- Create, maintain and ensure all approved policy and procedures are followed
- Administration of the following Network & Security as it relates to major improvements, enhancements and architectural design o DR solutions to determine RTO and RPO. o Server room Hardware. o AWS cloud components include EC2, S3, load balance, VPC availability zones and components from Marketplace plus Microsoft Azure o Google apps, workspace and Slack communications
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues with minimal downtime.
- Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of network devices. Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and tuning for reliability.
- Manage incidents to ensure rapid resolution, including root cause analysis, follow up with vendors and ensure necessary communication is sent to relevant parties
- Keep current and review all technical documentation including operational, configuration, or other procedures. Provide Tier III support for escalated incidents and requests
- Provide level 3 IT Technical Support
Skills, Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 - 7 years of experience in enterprise networking and security engineering.
- Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent enterprise network solutions.
- Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.).
- Network monitoring and SIEM tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, etc.).
- Security frameworks and protocols (TLS, IPsec, SASE, Zero Trust).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven experience in incident response and disaster recovery planning
- Professional certifications preferred: CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
- Fluent in both Arabic & English (verbal and written).
