Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Developer who can independently design, implement, review, and deliver complex Odoo solutions. The candidate may be full-stack, but strong and proven hands-on experience in Odoo frontend development is mandatory. The role is intended to add immediate delivery capacity and is not a training path for junior or lower-level candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of advanced Odoo frontend features across Website, Website Builder, themes, portal, eCommerce, POS, and backend web-client interfaces.
- Build upgrade-safe QWeb templates, XML/XPath inheritances, OWL components, JavaScript modules, SCSS, asset bundles, website snippets, and snippet options.
- Implement reliable multi-website, multi-language, multi-company, and domain-specific behavior without data leakage or fragile workarounds.
- Develop Odoo backend models, business logic, controllers, integrations, scheduled processes, access rights, and record rules when required.
- Diagnose complex issues involving assets, caching, translations, website editor behavior, public/portal access, POS, and eCommerce flows.
- Review and replace non-standard implementations with secure, reusable, maintainable, testable, and upgrade-safe Odoo solutions.
- Collaborate with functional, UI/UX, QA, and engineering teams; provide technical guidance and code reviews when required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Odoo development experience with proven ownership of production-grade implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Odoo Website, Website Builder, themes, QWeb, XML inheritance, XPath, and asset bundles.
- Strong OWL and Odoo JavaScript experience, including components, services, registries, hooks, actions, and supported patching patterns.
- Hands-on experience creating website snippets, configurable snippet options, and editor-compatible building blocks.
- Practical experience with multi-website and multi-language Odoo implementations.
- Strong experience in at least two of: Odoo eCommerce, POS frontend, portal workflows, or backend web-client customization.
- Strong Python and Odoo ORM skills covering models, business logic, controllers, security, integrations, and data access patterns.
- Strong JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, Git, browser debugging, and code-review skills.
- Ability to make sound technical decisions and deliver production-ready solutions independently.
- Clear English communication skills; Arabic is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo 16-19 and migration of legacy frontend customizations to OWL-based patterns.
- Experience with Odoo.sh, Linux, CI/CD, staging/production deployments, and module versioning.
- Experience converting Figma or design-system specifications into reusable Odoo themes and components.
- Experience with large eCommerce/portal solutions, performance optimization, automated testing, or Odoo certification.

Technical Selection Process
1. Initial CV review against the mandatory role requirements.
2. Technical interview focused on real implementation decisions, architecture, debugging, and previous delivery ownership.
3. Practical Odoo assessment covering QWeb/XML inheritance, OWL or a supported frontend extension, website/snippet behavior, backend logic, security, and multi-website safety.
4. Code review and final technical evaluation.
