Senior Odoo Implementation Specialist

Job Summary

The Senior Odoo Implementation Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting the implementation, configuration, optimization, and adoption of Odoo across the organization. The role works closely with different business functions to understand requirements, improve existing processes, translate business needs into practical Odoo solutions, and ensure effective system utilization across branches and departments.

Key Responsibilities

· Take ownership of Odoo implementation activities, ensuring successful deployment and continuous improvement of the system.

· Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization through Odoo.

· Gather and translate business requirements from Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, HR, Retail, and other departments into practical Odoo solutions.

· Configure and customize Odoo modules based on business requirements and operational needs.

· Support Odoo users across different departments and provide guidance to ensure proper system adoption.

· Work closely with business stakeholders to identify system gaps, resolve issues, and improve overall system efficiency.

· Manage system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue tracking, and implementation follow-up.

· Coordinate with external Odoo partners on technical issues, customizations, integrations, and complex system requirements.

· Ensure proper documentation of system configurations, workflows, processes, and implemented solutions.

· Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

· Support integrations between Odoo and other business systems using APIs and available integration tools.

· Assist in data migration, data validation, and maintaining data accuracy across Odoo modules.

· Develop and deliver user training, system guidelines, and best practices to improve user adoption.

· Support multi-branch operations and ensure consistent system processes across different locations.

· Stay updated on Odoo features, best practices, and new functionalities to continuously improve the company's use of the platform.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in Odoo implementation, ERP implementation, business systems, or a similar role.

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Odoo configuration and implementation.

Good understanding of Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, HR, and Retail processes.

Experience with multi-branch business operations is preferred.

Knowledge of Odoo Studio, workflows, automation, APIs, SQL, Python, and XML is a plus.

Language Skills

Excellent in English (spoken and written).

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong knowledge of ERP systems, Odoo, and business process management tools.

Other Requirements

Ability to take ownership of Odoo implementation projects, work effectively with internal stakeholders and external Odoo partners, and ensure successful system adoption across the organization.
