NBK Wealth is recruiting for a Senior Officer - MENA Asset Management Operations for its Operations team in Kuwait.

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting daily back-office activities and liaising with internal and external parties to ensure instructions are executed in a timely manner according to internal policies and procedures, best practice and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update all portfolio activities, including trades, cash movements, dividends, and security transfers accurately in the system.
  • Review trade tickets from portfolio managers, verify details against counterparty confirmations, and ensure timely posting to client portfolios.
  • Conduct daily and weekly cash and securities reconciliations using statements from banks, brokers, and clearing agents to safeguard client assets.
  • Monitor corporate actions and ensure timely communication with portfolio managers, as well as proper recording and followup on distributions and fee collections.
  • Maintain organized and accessible records to support audits, regulatory reviews, and client inquiries.
  • Prepare periodic operational reports for clients, management, and regulatory authorities.
  • Escalate issues promptly to the line manager or relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient resolution.
  • Follow up on all correspondence and client inquiries, preparing reply to letters and supporting documentation when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 34 years of experience within a financial institution; prior experience in investment operations is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with operational standards and industry best practices.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, investment funds, and market benchmarks.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
  • CMA qualification is required.
