Job Description
- Job Purpose:- Release the facilities on system and ensuring that all terms & conditions have been complied upon facility utilization
- Reporting any shortage, excess or any irregular incidents properly.
- Meet the CBE requirements in terms of utilization and facility monitoring to ensure no single transaction on facility accounts posted without Credit Control approval
- Monitoring expired limits and freeze facilities in case limits expired or fully utilized
- Accuracy and punctuality of the executed transactions
- KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Review/scrutinize the Credit Sanction/CP.
- Ensure limits have been approved within the delegated authority as per CPM; otherwise refer for approval from competent authority.
- Administering the day to day activities and operations of the department.
- Monitoring the value of collateral and expiry date e.g. stocks and shares, mortgages & inventory statements on a regular basis, to ensure that any shortfall in security is immediately recognized and report the same to the Relationship Managers to address it.
- Approving/Monitor utilization of limits to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of approval, so that no unauthorized disbursements are made from any delivery Centre.
- Ensure timely generation of the various reports emanating from the line card database, to facilitate the monitoring / tracking process of the credit portfolio of any collateral or excesses or other exceptions.
- Prepare & timely dispatch all required reports to Country Manager, RMs, HO CRM & RRD, UAE Central Bank, and CBE including:
- Monthly Exception Report
- Statement of expired lines
- Statements of progress in classified accounts
- CBE monthly limits & OR
- UAE Central Bank Returns
- UAE Collateral monthly report
- Ensure that interest & commissions are properly calculated/collected in accordance with approved tariff & that penal interest is levied in case of overdue loans & TOD.
- Ensure updating of customers risk rating properly and reported the same

- Ensure applying the Risk Control Self Assesment rols in term of proper reporting of risk and incidents with corrective action plan.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of related banking experience in credit admin, loan documentation and banking operations.
- Good understanding of local banking laws and working knowledge of legal issues pertaining to commercial lending is a must.
- Familiar with the use of technology in Credit operations & control and the stipulation of user requirements for the development of software.
