Senior Operations Engineer (UAE National)

Position Summary

Provide internal ownership, governance, and technical oversight of the organization's on-premises cloud infrastructure while managing AMS/vendor performance, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Govern infrastructure operations and oversee AMS service delivery.
• Manage vendor SLAs, KPIs, incidents, RCAs, changes, and escalations.
• Review and approve production changes and participate in CAB.
• Oversee monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, IAM, capacity, and performance.
• Support security, audits, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
• Coordinate operational readiness for infrastructure projects and migrations.
• Drive automation, service improvements, and ITIL best practices.
• Engage business stakeholders and provide operational reporting.
  
  

Required Experience

• 8–12 years in enterprise infrastructure operations or engineering.
• At least 5 years managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Minimum 3 years managing outsourced/AMS service providers.
• Experience with hybrid/on-prem cloud, ITIL processes, vendor governance, incident/change management, and infrastructure transformation projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• ITIL Foundation (required).
• Preferred certifications: VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure/Hybrid Administrator, RHCSA, Security+, CISSP, ISO 27001, PRINCE2 or PMP.
