Job Summary
We are seeking a senior Oracle APEX developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable Oracle APEX applications. The ideal candidate will lead technical design discussions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with product and IT teams to deliver robust, secure, and user-friendly solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of Oracle APEX applications, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance APEX solutions leveraging Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, RESTful services, and web technologies
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- mentor and guide junior developers; conduct code reviews and establish development best practices
- optimize existing applications for performance, reliability, and accessibility
- implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards
- stay current with Oracle features and industry trends; propose innovative improvements
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Database administration concepts and SQL tuning
- Familiarity with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and web services integration
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Experience in agile software development methodologies
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience in a development team
- Oracle APEX certification or relevant Oracle credentials
