Senior Oracle Developer

Role Summary

The Oracle PL/SQL Developer designs, develops, and maintains efficient Oracle database solutions to support business applications. The role focuses on performance optimization, data integrity, security, and troubleshooting database issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The developer also contributes to documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement using Oracle best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Design and maintain efficient database structures and schemas.
• Optimize and tune Oracle database queries and performance.
• Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver effective database solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Implement database security and access controls to protect sensitive data.
• Perform data migration, backup, and recovery tasks as needed.
• Maintain documentation for database development processes, changes, and standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Oracle database development
• Proven experience with PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and database optimization
• Experience working in Agile development environments is advantageous
