Job Description

Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle ERP / Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), with proven involvement in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects. Strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS technologies, including Oracle Forms, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, Approval Management Engine (AME), SQL*Loader, Open Interfaces, Oracle APIs, AOL concepts, and Forms Personalization.

** Key Responsibilities and Skills**

  • Work independently with business stakeholders and functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into clear, effective technical designs and solutions.
  • Deliver end-to-end technical solutions, covering design, development, unit testing, SIT/UAT support, production deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Provide strong production support capabilities, including root-cause analysis, log analysis, performance tuning, and controlled data fixes in line with governance standards.
  • Maintain high documentation standards, including technical design documents, deployment notes, and operational handover materials.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within an integrated project delivery model.
  • Adhere to Oracle EBS best practices by using standard APIs and Open Interfaces and avoiding direct base-table updates.

Specialized Technical Requirements

  • Reporting: Proven experience in developing and supporting BI Publisher (XML Publisher) data templates and layouts, as well as maintaining legacy Oracle Reports where required.
  • Interfaces: Strong experience designing and supporting inbound and outbound integrations using Oracle EBS standard integration approaches, including service enablement and controlled data exchange mechanisms.
  • Data Conversion & Migration: Hands-on experience with data migration activities using SQL*Loader, staging tables, validation and reconciliation processes, and loading data through Open Interfaces and Oracle public APIs.
  • Enhancements: Experience delivering upgrade-safe EBS customizations using custom objects, extensions, and personalizations where appropriate, with proper logging, error handling, and disciplined deployment practices.
  • Oracle Forms: Strong development and support experience with Oracle Forms, including triggers, libraries, compilation and deployment, and Forms Personalization.
  • Workflows: Solid expertise in Oracle Workflow development and support, including Workflow Builder, notifications, monitoring and retry mechanisms, and AME rule configuration and support where applicable.
  • OAF (Oracle Application Framework): Hands-on experience developing and supporting OAF solutions using JDeveloper, including extensions (Controller, AM, VO), personalizations, diagnostics and logging, and support of EBS self-service modules such as iProcurement and SSHR.
  • ISG (Integrated SOA Gateway): Experience exposing and consuming EBS services using REST and SOAP via ISG, including service enablement for PL/SQL APIs, security and grants management, testing with tools such as Postman and SOAP UI, and troubleshooting service and integration issues.
