Senior outgoing travel consulant

Role Description The Senior Outgoing Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This position is responsible for handling all aspects of outbound travel, including advising clients on destinations, itineraries, and travel options, preparing customized travel packages, and managing bookings for flights, hotels, tours, and transportation. The consultant will communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person, provide cost estimates, issue confirmations, and resolve any travel-related issues before and during trips. The role includes coordinating with suppliers and travel partners, maintaining accurate records in booking systems, and meeting sales and service targets. The Senior Outgoing Travel Consultant is also expected to mentor junior team members and contribute to improving processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong travel consulting abilities, including destination knowledge, itinerary planning, and experience with outgoing (international) tourism.
• Competence in reservation systems and travel platforms, with the ability to manage flight, hotel, and tour bookings accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional, friendly, and outgoing demeanor when interacting with diverse clients.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting targets, upselling services, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written), with clear, courteous communication in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Previous experience in a senior travel consultant or similar role in a travel agency or tour operator environment.
• Relevant education in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Heliopolis and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
