Your Role

As a Senior Painting QC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of all surface protection activities across project sites.

• Developing and qualifying Surface Protection Procedures for:
• Painting & Coating
• Insulation
• Fire-Proofing
• Refractory
• Neoprene Lining (Vulcanizing)
• Qualifying applicators for field joint coating, insulation, and fireproofing
• Reviewing and approving vendor and subcontractor procedures
• Maintaining applicator qualifications
• Monitoring activities across various project phases and locations
• Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for surface protection failures
• Resolving NCRs related to coatings and protection systems
• Ensuring effective implementation of all quality controls

What We're Looking For

E

xperience

• Minimum 12 years of overall experience, including 10 years as Painting/Coating Engineer in Oil & Gas

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Certified in one of the following (acceptable to ADNOC Offshore such as NACE Level 3, BGAS Grade 2, FROSIO Level III or equivalent approved certification

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of international Coating, Painting, Insulation, Fireproofing, Refractory, and Lining Codes & Standards
• Experience in personnel and procedure qualification
• Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English
