Senior Partnerships/BD - MENA & Africa

Location: Dubai, UAE (Open for candidates to relocate)

This is a fast-growing international payments business that is expanding its global footprint with a new office in Dubai!

The business provides payment technology and infrastructure to support businesses operating across international markets, with a strong focus on local payment methods, payment connectivity and expanding access to emerging payment ecosystems.

As part of this Dubai expansion, they are looking to hire an individual to take ownership of commercial growth across MENA, GCC and Africa.

This is a senior, high-impact role focused on strategic partnerships, payment provider acquisition and market expansion.

What you'll be doing:

• Identify and secure new payment providers, PSPs, acquirers and alternative payment partners

• Build and manage strategic commercial relationships across MENA and Africa

• Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership terms

• Identify gaps and opportunities across local payment ecosystems

• Work closely with Product, Legal, Compliance, Sales and Account Management teams

• Support the onboarding and launch of new payment solutions

• Represent the business at industry events and with key payment partners

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience within Payments, FinTech or iGaming

• Background with a PSP, acquirer, payment aggregator, payment institution or similar

• Proven experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships or Payment Provider

Acquisition

• Established commercial relationships across MENA and/or Africa

• Strong understanding of APMs, card schemes, mobile money, digital wallets and local payment rails

• Strong commercial negotiation and partnership-building skills

Desirable (Nice to have):

• Existing network of PSPs/payment providers across MENA or Africa

• Arabic and/or French language skills

• Experience with payment orchestration platforms

• Exposure to iGaming, crypto or FX

• Understanding of cross-border payment flows across Africa and MENA
