What ACES is Looking For

ACES is looking for a Senior Pavement Engineer to join our team in KSA, Riyadh.

Job Summary:

Performs data collection and processing, operates automated pavement measurement equipment and provides technical support for usage of measurement equipment. Perform specialized evaluation tests for both pavement materials and pavement structures for both highways and airports. Design flexible and rigid pavement structures for highways and airports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Managerial Duties:

• Implement section's policies, goals, objectives and procedures and support in their development as needed.
• Oversee the implementation of operations plan, policies, procedures and transition/ migration plans.
• Support Department Manager in management of resources, cost control and budgeting.

Technical Duties:

• Perform specialized evaluation tests for both pavement materials and pavement structures for both highways and airports.
• Design flexible and rigid pavement structures for highways and airports.
• Provide consultations to ACES different branches in issues related to pavement materials and evaluation.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and reports for projects.
• Update the Center library with required software.
• Follow-up on studies work progress.
• Help in conducting development research to upgrade the technical capabilities of the Center and submit the recommendations to management.
• Submit monthly and annual reports on the on-going and finished works to the Center Manager.
• Help in commercializing the Center.
• Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.

RCE (Regional Centers of Excellence) Manager.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Master or PhD Degree in Civil Engineering or any related field. Master is preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Civil Engineering Construction Materials testing.
• Asphalt concrete mix designs.
• Polymer modification of asphalt binders
• Pavement Performance Evaluation (Destructive and Non-Destructive)
• Pavement design.
• Preventive maintenance and pavement preservation concepts.
• Concrete pavement evaluation.
• Slab stabilization and slab jacking.
• Partial-depth repair and full-depth repair (FDR) of concrete pavements.
• Pavement material testing.
• Load transfer restoration (LTR) & surface restoration of concrete pavements.
• Fundamentals Mathematics, calculations, Statistics, and Data Analysis.
• Safety and Environmental Issues.
• Occupational Safety.
• Ms. Word.
• Ms. Excel.
