Job Purpose
The Senior Photographer leads the execution of high-impact photography projects, including hero campaigns, seasonal launches, and premium product shoots. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional visual content while maintaining Floward's photography standards, supporting creative collaboration, and mentoring junior photographers through hands-on guidance and feedback.
Key Responsibilities
Photography & Creative Execution
- Lead and execute hero campaigns, seasonal launches, lifestyle shoots, and premium product photography.
- Interpret creative briefs and independently determine lighting, composition, and framing within brand guidelines.
- Deliver high-quality imagery that meets creative, technical, and commercial standards.
- Manage complex photography setups and ensure efficient execution during shoot days.
Image Quality & Post-Production
- Review photography output to ensure consistency and quality before final delivery.
- Collaborate with retouching and post-production teams to achieve the desired final result.
- Review final images and provide guidance on image selection and editing requirements.
- Maintain high standards for file organization, asset management, and image delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Creative, Design, Styling, and Production teams to execute integrated campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support photography planning, scheduling, and project execution.
- Contribute to creative discussions by providing photography expertise throughout the production process.
Team Support & Development
- Provide day-to-day guidance and constructive feedback to photographers.
- Share technical knowledge and best practices in lighting, composition, and photography techniques.
- Support the development of junior team members by leading through example and maintaining high creative standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of professional photography experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or commercial photography.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product, lifestyle, and campaign photography.
- Advanced knowledge of studio lighting, camera equipment, composition, and post-production workflows.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent creative and technical execution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
