Senior Piping and Layout Engineer within
EniProgetti Egypt Ltd. in
Cairo.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned tasks and deliver project deliverables competently and effectively within agreed time and budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with applicable project requirements, codes, standards, HSE legislation and company HSE policies
- Collaborate and coordinate with engineers, designers and technical personnel within the discipline and across other disciplines
- Apply company-standard work methods, tools and standardised deliverables to maximise design efficiency
- Work in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with company ISO procedures
- Act as Piping PDL for assigned projects
- Support the preparation of cost estimates, scope changes, proposals and project schedules
- Prepare piping technical deliverables, including calculations, stress analysis reports, plot plans, piping GAs and specifications
- Prepare piping and pipe support material take-offs (MTOs)
- Participate in internal and client multidisciplinary meetings
Skills And Experience Required
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive experience in piping design for oil and gas projects
