Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Piping Engineer to lead piping design, engineering, and coordination activities for major oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have
15+ years of experience in piping design, analysis, and EPC project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review piping design deliverables, including P&IDs, isometrics, layouts, and stress analysis reports.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integrity.
- Review and approve material specifications, datasheets, and vendor documents for piping systems.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, client specifications, and international codes (ASME, API, ISO).
- Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, and technical audits.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior piping engineers.
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams with technical clarifications.
- Ensure timely delivery of piping engineering deliverables and maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Piping/Process Engineering.
- 15+ years of piping engineering experience in the oil & gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of piping design, stress analysis, material selection, and EPC workflows.
- Proficiency in design and analysis software (CAESAR II, PDMS, AutoCAD, SmartPlant P&ID, etc.).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in office or site-based project environments with multidisciplinary teams.
