Senior Placement Executive, Employee Benefits

The Senior Account Executive within the medical insurance broking and placement team is responsible for managing insurer relationships, conducting market reviews, and overseeing the placement of medical and group life insurance policies, including internal bookings and compliance checks. The role involves assessing client risks, sourcing and analyzing insurer quotes, preparing comparative analyses, and developing clear, tailored presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients, acting as their primary point of contact for placement activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and market reviews to understand client insurance needs and objectives, ensuring coverage is tailored to their requirements.
  • Request quotes from insurers, analyze premium and coverage options, and prepare detailed comparisons to support client decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external insurers to design and implement effective medical insurance plans.
  • Prepare presentation with the proposed options, providing clear explanations of benefits, exclusions, and pricing, ensuring alignment with their risk profile.
  • Manage the policy placement process, negotiating with insurers to secure the best possible terms for clients.
  • Assist with policy renewals, ensuring competitive terms and addressing any plan changes or enhancements as required.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance landscape.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on insurance offerings, market conditions, and client benefits utilization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in handling policy placement within Employee Benefits Insurance.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess risks and compare insurance quotes effectively.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits products, trends, and best practices in the UAE.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
