The Senior Planner will initially work closely with the Development Team to prepare, update, and monitor programmes for the Pre-Construction and Design Phases, which includes pre-construction planning, design development and authority approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update project programmes from Pre-Concept Design to Detailed Design stages.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and consultants to ensure alignment of design deliverables with programme requirements.
- Review and validate Authority approval timelines and incorporate them into project schedules.
- Prepare and maintain Master Plan Programmes for complex development portfolios.
- Support master planning activities by providing realistic phasing, sequencing, and programme strategies.
- Review Consultant/Contractors baseline and revised programmes, ensuring compliance with contractual and development requirements.
- Conduct delay analysis, claim assessment, and provide recommendations to the Development and Project Controls teams.
- Identify schedule risks, propose mitigation strategies, and support decision-making during design and construction phases.
- Provide programme updates, progress dashboards, and critical path analysis for management reporting.
- Assist in procurement planning and milestone alignment.
- Ensure alignment of design, procurement, authority, and construction timelines across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Engineering Degree (Preferably Civil Engineering).
10-15 years of relevant experience, preferably with developers or master developers.
Strong expertise in pre-construction planning, design development, authority approvals, and master planning.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
