Senior Planning Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for major construction projects, ensuring timely delivery while supporting project teams with planning, progress reporting, and schedule analysis. This role requires extensive experience working on large-scale, multi-billion SAR building projects with Tier 1 main contractors

Key Responsibiliti

• esDevelop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning softwar
• e.Prepare baseline programmes, recovery schedules, and revised project plans throughout the project lifecycl
• e.Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project milestone
• s.Conduct critical path analysis, delay analysis, and earned value assessments to support project performanc
• e.Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and executive planning presentation
• s.Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, commercial, and construction teams to ensure alignment between project activities and schedule
• s.Review subcontractor programmes and monitor their progress to ensure compliance with contractual milestone
• s.Support the preparation and evaluation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims by providing detailed planning analysis and schedule impact assessment
• s.Participate in project planning meetings and provide schedule-related recommendations to senior managemen
• t.Ensure planning processes comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standard
• s.Identify project risks related to scheduling and develop mitigation and recovery plan
