Senior Planning Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Senior Planning Engineer for a reputable company in Qatar, working on high-rise building projects.

Position Requirements & Specifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

10+ years of MEP experience in construction projects

Strong experience in high-rise building projects

10+ years of GCC experience (Qatar experience preferred)

Strong background in project planning, scheduling, and project controls

Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

Strong communication and coordination skills

Important Client Requirements

Candidate must be currently based in Qatar with a valid QID

If the QID profession is Engineer, a valid UPDA certification is mandatory

Civil Engineering backgrounds will not be considered

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage project schedules and baseline programs

Monitor project progress, delays, and performance

Prepare look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and cost analysis

Conduct delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) claims

Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors

Manage earned value analysis, resource loading, and forecasting
