We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our Fit-Out Factory team based in Dubai South. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project planning and controls, with proven expertise in fit-out projects, Primavera P6, progress monitoring, delay analysis and EOT preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

Develop and maintain baseline programs and detailed construction schedules.
Plan design, procurement, approvals, site execution, testing, commissioning and handover.
Identify critical paths, milestones and schedule risks.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor project progress against the approved baseline.
Prepare progress reports, dashboards and S-curves.
Identify delays and coordinate recovery/mitigation plans.

Delay Analysis & Claims Support

Conduct delay analysis and support EOT submissions.
Maintain proper documentation of delay events.
Support the Commercial team with claims and variations.

Project Coordination

Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement and Design teams.
Ensure design approvals, material deliveries and site works align with the schedule.
Attend progress and coordination meetings.

Resource & Procurement Planning

Monitor manpower, equipment and productivity.
Track long-lead items, shop drawings and material approvals.
Identify resource gaps and procurement-related delays.

Project Controls & Documentation

Maintain updated schedules and baseline revisions using planning software.
Ensure accurate project controls documentation for reporting and audits.

Here's what you'll need

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
9+ years of experience in planning/project controls.
Mandatory fit-out experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
P6 certification/training preferred.
Experience in Delay Analysis and EOT preparation.
PMP training/certification is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling and project controls.
Excellent coordination, reporting and communication skills.
