We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead project scheduling, programme evaluation, and progress monitoring across both pre- and post-contract phases. The role requires strong analytical skills and expertise in Primavera P6/MS Project to support effective project delivery and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract (Tender to Award)
- Review and evaluate contractor programmes (logic, duration, milestones, risks)
- Compare tender schedules and prepare evaluation reports
- Develop master and milestone schedules aligned with design, approvals, and sales timelines
- Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation/contingency plans
- Coordinate design, procurement, and authority approval timelines
- Establish baseline programme and reporting framework post-award
Post-Contract (Construction to Handover)
- Monitor progress vs. plan; validate reports, S-curves, and site progress
- Review and update project schedules; analyze delays and critical path impacts
- Conduct delay analysis and support EOT/claims assessment
- Lead programme reviews and coordinate with stakeholders
- Assess impact of variations and manage schedule changes
- Monitor resources, logistics, and recovery plans
- Plan testing, commissioning, and phased handover
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards
- Maintain programme records and develop as-built schedules
Key Requirements
Experience
- 5–7 years in planning & scheduling
- Minimum 5 years in UAE (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years on high-rise projects (20+ floors)
- Experience across both pre- and post-contract phases
- Developer or top-tier contractor experience (developer preferred)
- Experience on projects AED 100M+ (preferred)
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering / Construction / Project Management (mandatory)
- PMP, PMI-SP, or PSP (preferred)
Technical Skills
- Mandatory: Primavera P6 (expert), MS Project, Advanced Excel
- Strong understanding of CPM, delay analysis, and construction sequencing
- Ability to interpret drawings and methodologies
- Preferred: Power BI/Tableau, BIM 4D tools, risk analysis software
Knowledge
- UAE construction practices and authority processes (DM, DEWA, Civil Defense)
- Contract forms (FIDIC/NEC) and planning best practices

- Accurate programme evaluations and forecasts
