Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Planning Engineer with proven experience in EPC substation projects to manage planning functions, control timelines, and drive project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules for substation projects (MV/HV/EHV).
- Prepare baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and ensure proper resource loading.
- Track project progress and analyze deviations from the plan.
- Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies when required.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights and recommendations.
- Monitor project critical paths and ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil & Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in substation projects.
- Strong experience in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of EPC project cycles.
- Experience in high voltage / extra high voltage substations is preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
