Senior Planning Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Planning Engineer with proven experience in EPC substation projects to manage planning functions, control timelines, and drive project performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules for substation projects (MV/HV/EHV).
• Prepare baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and ensure proper resource loading.
• Track project progress and analyze deviations from the plan.
• Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies when required.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights and recommendations.
• Monitor project critical paths and ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil & Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation projects.
• Strong experience in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of EPC project cycles.
• Experience in high voltage / extra high voltage substations is preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
