Position Purpose
Lead the planning and controls function , overseeing Phase-1 execution and future expansion phases. Ensure robust schedule management, risk forecasting, and performance tracking across EPC packages including solar farms, BESS, RO plants, WWTPs, district cooling, substations, and SCADA integration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules using Primavera P6 across all project phases.
- Create WBS structures aligned with project execution strategy and reporting needs.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule realism
and alignment.
2. Progress & Performance Monitoring
- Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and KPI dashboards.
- Generate look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and S-curve analyses.
- Lead monthly progress reviews and float consumption tracking.
3. Risk & Delay Analysis
- Maintain a live risk register with QRA inputs and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct forensic schedule analysis for EOT claims, disruptions, and acceleration scenarios.
- Support commercial teams in claims substantiation and delay impact assessments.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Interface with EPC contractors, consultants, and internal teams to align planning deliverables.
- Present schedule updates and risk forecasts to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Support BAC and board-level reporting with planning insights and visualizations.
5. Digitalization & Integration
- Leverage Power BI, SAP-PM, and CMMS platforms for integrated planning and reporting.

Schedule Levels & Structure
- Level 1: Executive Master Programme High-level summary of major milestones and contractual
dates.
- Level 2: Overall Project Master Programme Detailed CPM network covering engineering,
procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Level 3: Detailed Project Master Programme Discipline-wise breakdown, resource-loaded with
manpower and machinery.
- Level 4 and 5: Subcontractor & Manufacturer Schedules Vendor-specific timelines integrated
into Level 3.
Key P6 Activity Categories
- Engineering: IFC drawings issuance, design reviews, interface resolution.
- Procurement: RFQ issuance, PO placement, delivery tracking.
- Construction: Site mobilization, civil works, MEP installations, substation tie-ins.
- Commissioning: Pre-commissioning, functional testing, CCC and PAC milestones.
- Expansion-Specific: SF1/SF2 upgrades, RO04 commissioning, STP-4 and IWMF expansion.
Advanced Planning Features
- Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Modeling, Earned Value Management.
- S-Curve & Histogram Reporting, Look-Ahead & Recovery Plans.
- Schedule Narratives documenting assumptions and constraints.
Supporting Deliverables
- Schedule Narrative Document, Construction Strategy Presentation.
- Resource Analysis, Interface Milestone Matrix.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in planning and controls for large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP-PM, and forensic delay analysis.
- Experience in giga-projects or multi-utility environments.
- PMP or PMI-SP certification preferred.
