Senior Planning & Scheduling Engineer - Railway

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control detailed project schedules, including baselines and updates.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, and schedule deviations.
• Prepare project reports, dashboards, and progress updates for management.
• Support PMO governance, planning standards, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to validate schedules, assumptions, and progress.
• Conduct schedule and delay analysis and develop recovery plans when required.
• Support portfolio-level planning and project timeline consolidation.
• Identify project risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and recommend mitigation actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or PMO roles.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects; railway experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience in project reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking.
• Understanding of PMO frameworks, governance, and project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
• PMP certification or certification in progress is an advantage.
