To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new Senior PMO.
Job purpose:
The Senior PMO is responsible for establishing and continuously improving the delivery governance framework across all portfolios within Geidea, including Technology, Product, Regulatory, and Strategic initiatives across all regions.
The role focuses on defining and optimizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), delivery processes, performance metrics, and reporting standards to ensure predictable, transparent, and efficient delivery across the organization.
The Senior PMO acts as a central governance function across all portfolios, enabling standardized processes, improving delivery maturity, and providing executive visibility into portfolio performance and delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and govern the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across all portfolios, ensuring clear stage gates from requirement intake through design approval, planning, development, testing, and release.
- Drive continuous process improvement across delivery functions, identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, predictability, and delivery quality.
- Establish and manage a delivery performance framework, defining KPIs and metrics such as delivery predictability, milestone adherence, cycle time, and resource utilization across all initiatives.
- Standardize portfolio reporting and executive dashboards, providing leadership with consolidated visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery performance across all portfolios.
- Ensure governance and compliance with delivery frameworks, maintaining oversight of planning processes, change management, and adherence to established methodologies across teams.
- Provide portfolio-level insights and data-driven recommendations to leadership by analyzing delivery performance trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Enable cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Business teams, ensuring consistent processes, transparency, and coordination across all portfolios.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management, including experience in delivery governance or PMO roles.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a senior PMO, program governance, or portfolio management role.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum and SAFe.
- Strong experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) governance and delivery frameworks.
- Experience designing delivery KPIs, reporting dashboards, and performance metrics frameworks.
- Experience working in technology-driven or fintech environments preferred.
- Familiarity with payment platforms, payment gateways, or digital financial services is an advantage.
