Duties & Responsibilities

About the Position:

The senior preincubation specialist oversees the pre-accelerationprogram and coordinates various entrepreneurial and business educationtrainings, events, and activities within the Center for Entrepreneurship. Thispivotal role supports student entrepreneurs, helping them transform their ideasinto successful business models by providing guidance, resources, and support.The specialist works closely with the Preincubation and EntrepreneurialLearning Units teams to foster a dynamic and supportive environment. They alsobuild and maintain relationships with external partners, including investors,industry professionals, accelerators, and other stakeholders, to enhancenetworking opportunities for student entrepreneurs. Additionally, thespecialist actively organizes and participates in networking events, pitchsessions, and conferences to boost the visibility and success of the center'sentrepreneurial initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement preincubation programs and workshops to support potentialentrepreneurs.
  • Provide one-on-one mentorship to student entrepreneurs to guide their development and success.
  • Evaluate and refine program offerings based on feedback and outcomes from participants.
  • Connect startups with essential university resources such as labs, equipment, and research facilities.
  • Facilitate access to various funding opportunities, includinggrants, competitions, and investor networks.
  • Maintain an updated database of mentors, advisors, and industrycontacts to support entrepreneurial activities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with external partners,including investors, accelerators, and industry professionals.
  • Organize and oversee networking events, pitch sessions, and demodays to showcase startups and attract stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track the progress of participants in preincubationprograms, providing regular reports to the program director.
  • Develop and implement metrics to assess the impact and success ofpre-incubation activities, ensuring continuous improvement.
