About our client

We are working with a global investor, based in Riyadh, who are looking to hire a senior risk professional into their Private Markets investment risk team. This role will require relocation to Riyadh.

What the job involves

Leading investment risk processes for private markets investments
Supporting the department head on technical and strategic initiatives
Board related work across various sectors, such as gaming, mining, aircraft leasing
Attending due diligence meetings with investment teams for critical private assets
Reviewing portfolio company business plans from a risk perspective
Co-ordinating with the fund ODD team on risk DD
Rolling out the risk framework to various portfolio companies
Enhancing content in existing investment risk reporting
Engaging with consultants on various investment risk projects

Who we are looking for

Prior experience of private markets investment risk
Prior experience in a consulting firm or bank
Prior experience building and implementing a GRC framework
Experience working closely with investment teams / stakeholders in order to develop a risk dashboard
Skilled in conducting thorough due diligence and financial analysis of investment opportunities
A degree from a top-tier university within finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related degree
A Master's degree is preferred
