Job Description

A Senior Procurement Engineer specialising in aluminium manages end-to-end sourcing of raw materials, extrusions, or facade components.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end procurement activities for aluminium, façade and related materials.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project and manufacturing requirements.

Identify, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers.

Obtain competitive quotations, conduct commercial evaluations and negotiate pricing and payment terms.

Prepare and manage RFQs, Purchase Orders, subcontract agreements and procurement documentation.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in line with project schedules and production requirements.

Monitor supplier performance, quality, lead times and delivery commitments.

Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, Production, Planning, QA/QC, Logistics and Finance teams.

Maintain strong supplier relationships and develop a reliable supplier base.

Conduct market research and monitor aluminium material pricing and market trends.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved budgets and quality standards.

Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities without compromising quality or delivery.

Core Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Civil Engineering, or Supply Chain.
8+ years of total procurement experience, with heavy focus on metals, manufacturing, or aluminium-glass facade sectors.
Proficiency in ERP tools like SAP or Oracle.
Strong background in contractual law and international commercial terms
