Industry: Main Contracting / High-Rise Construction
We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer with strong procurement experience in high-rise construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
- Prepare RFQs and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, construction, and commercial teams.
- Monitor long-lead materials and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors from enquiry through delivery/award.
- Maintain procurement schedules and trackers.
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 8–12 years of procurement experience in main contracting.
- Strong experience in high-rise towers/building projects.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and subcontract packages.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- UAE/GCC experience preferred.
- Good communication and MS Office/Excel skills.
