- Oversee procurement activities including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, vendor evaluation, commercial negotiations, contract management and renewals.
- Review procurement proposals, vendor selection and approval processes to ensure appropriate governance, documentation, segregation of duties and approval requirements are met.
- Partner closely with COO, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk and business teams to provide guidance on procurement decisions and manage potential commercial and operational risks.
- Maintain oversight of country-specific procurement requirements, regulatory considerations and local practices across different markets.
- Monitor procurement spend, vendor performance and budget utilisation, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and greater procurement efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure procurement activities are supported by appropriate documentation and audit trails.
- Drive continuous improvement of regional procurement policies, controls, workflows and vendor governance frameworks.
- Provide reporting and insights to senior management on procurement performance, key risks, exceptions and areas requiring management attention.
Requirements

- Strong experience in procurement governance, strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations and third-party risk management.
- Proven experience managing procurement activities across multiple countries, entities or regional markets, with an understanding of local procurement and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, approval frameworks and governance processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across COO, Finance, Legal, Compliance and business functions.
- Experience in a fast-paced, regional and matrixed environment is highly preferred.
