Job Description

Job Summary:

This role ensures cost-efficient procurement operations by handling sourcing, contracts, and purchasing while ensuring compliance. In addition, the role optimizes vendor relationships, leverages automation to streamline processes, and monitors spending to support cost-saving initiatives and business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct supplier research by evaluating pricing, reliability, delivery times, and support structures to identify and qualify the best sourcing options.
  • Supervise vendor contract stocking agreements by implementing a structured quarterly review process to ensure contract renewals align with business needs and performance standards.
  • Negotiate purchasing plans by initiating and managing both short- and long-term schedules to secure favorable terms and maintain supply chain stability.
  • Monitor the purchasing budget by tracking expenditures and analyzing cost variances to ensure financial efficiency and budget compliance.
  • Track delivery timelines by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely receipt of goods and prevent operational disruptions.
  • Implement procurement procedures by acting as the key contact across the company to ensure compliance with policies and streamline purchasing operations.
  • Handle the purchasing process by segment through strategic sourcing and supplier categorization to optimize procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Attend supplier meetings, conferences, and trade shows while analyzing catalogs and market trends to expand sourcing options and identify new procurement opportunities.
  • Prepare procurement budget data by collecting and validating expenditure records to support accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Provide quarterly spend analysis by identifying top spend categories and cost trends to support cost reduction initiatives and procurement optimization.

Pre-requisites (Education and Professional Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the Procurement field.
