We are seeking a senior Procurement practitioner to help redesign an enterprise procurement operating model and work directly with product and engineering teams delivering a new digital procurement capability.
This is not a technology project-management role.
We require deep Procurement operating expertise combined with the ability to challenge existing policies, processes and controls.
What You Will Own
- Redesign Procurement processes end-to-end.
- Review procurement segmentation, sourcing strategies and thresholds.
- Challenge unnecessary approvals and administrative steps.
- Improve requisition and statement-of-work quality.
- Review strategic sourcing, RFQ/RFP, evaluation and award processes.
- Review supplier onboarding, qualification and performance management.
- Review procurement policy and control requirements.
- Translate policy and sourcing rules into explicit system/business rules.
- Define where automation is appropriate and where human judgment must remain.
- Advise product and engineering teams on Procurement requirements.
- Work with Finance, Legal, IT and business stakeholders.
Required Experience
- 12+ years of Procurement experience.
- Senior strategic-sourcing and Procurement-operations responsibility.
- Significant Procurement transformation experience.
- Deep knowledge of sourcing, tendering, supplier management, policy and contracting.
- Experience operating across complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong commercial judgment.
- Ability to move between high-level operating-model decisions and detailed process questions.
